Route 7 & 20 Corridor Access Management Study

BRPC completed a Corridor Access Management (CAM) Study for the portion of State Route 7&20 extending from Dan Fox Drive to New Lenox Road.  The Study Area is shown below.

CAM refers to a range of actions that assist with the preservation of road capacity and the maintenance of safe and efficient traffic operations.  CAM is most commonly implemented through a combination of capital improvements, design standards, and land use control measures.   In practice, CAM requires finding a balance between through movement of traffic, access to land, and preservation of community character.
