Traffic volume data, since 1977, for Berkshire County has been collected by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and the Berkshire Regional Planning Commission at various locations throughout the region.

Instructions for using the data table

The Traffic Volume Database includes Average Daily Traffic (ADT) data from traffic counts performed by MassDOT and Berkshire Regional Planning Commission from 1977 - 2011 at various locations throughout Berkshire County.

Average Daily Traffic (ADT) represents the average annual 24 hour traffic volume. ADT counts are adjusted using seasonal correction factors supplied by MassDOT.
